Today was "Hat Day" at Parker's big school. He insisted on wearning his firefighters hat as he calls it...as you can see, its not! He couldn't wait to go and show everyone his hat!

Special Birthday...
Nevin Claire has a special birthday...she shares it with her Poppy! Never did I think that I would have her on August 12. I had always hoped that would happen, but it would mean she would be over 3 weeks early. It worked out that she was born on Poppy's birthday and was just as healthy as could be even though she was early! Nevin Claire will always have someone special to share her birthday with! By the way, he doesn't look old enough to be a great grandfather, does he?
Parker's new tractor...
When Grumps came to meet Nevin Claire for the first time, he brought Parker this tractor!! Parker has a friend in AR, Jaxton, that has this neat tractor and Parker was able to ride it at his house when visiting. Dad saw him ride it and insisted that he needed it. So, when "baby sister" came along, Grumps thought that would be the perfect time. He didn't want Parker to feel left out. Needless to say, we are spending lots of time in the backyard on the tractor! Oh, and check out the boots...he has to have on his work boots to ride the tractor!
Two Weeks...
Two weeks
with her eyes open...she sleeps all the time!Time is flying by so fast, and Nevin Claire is already two weeks old. She is such a good baby, and I'm so glad she is sleeping good! Will took one of his weeks of vacation the first week we were home. It was so nice to have him with us. Last week, we spent getting into a routine just the two of us! We made a trip to visit Mimi and Poppy, she stayed with Mam'me while I took Parker to get some medicine for a sinus infection, and stayed with Ninny and Grumps while Will and I had a nice dinner together.
2 years 5 months
Where did my baby boy go? He is so grown-up looking and handsome I might add! He still loves going to big school which I am so thankful for! His teachers are wonderful, and he is learning so many new things! As you can see here, he is on his way to school with his "pack pack" on!

Headed to see Dr. Boldon for 1 week checkup...she weighed 6lb. 3oz. He said she was just perfect!

Hospital Door!
My friend Callie made this cute door hanger for our hospital door! It turned out so cute, and it matches Nevin Claire's room perfect! I can't wait to hang it!
Proud big brother!
Parker is one proud big brother. He immediately loved her from the moment he saw her in the hospital. He really hasn't been jealous at all! There are times when he wants Will or I to pay more attention to just him, but overall he has done wonderfully! We love to involve him by asking him to get diapers, help feed, or just check on her. He feels so important!

First Day of Big School
Last week, Parker started going to KidsTown. He had always stayed with a lady in her home who kept several other children. So, this was a change for him to go to a daycare with just kids his own age. He only stayed half days the first week, but he has stayed full days this week. I was worried that he wouldn't behave or nap or eat...but he has done perfect! Cleveland Shower for Nevin Claire

We had a wonderful time getting ready for Nevin Claire's arrival in Cleveland. Lots of friends and family stopped by to celebrate her upcoming arrival. She received so many cute things and has everything she needs when she gets here. We are so blessed to have such great friends and family who love us so much!
Swimming at Big Daddy's
Parker has really enjoyed swimming this summer...we are so lucky to have Big Daddy's pool! Over the last few weeks, Will and I have been trying to take him at least two times a week. He loves it! We always have to pack toys to go with us!
