Weekend in Wiggins

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we made our yearly trip to Wiggins. We always enjoying getting to see everyone and how much the kids have grown. This year was no different, except the time we went. Usually, we make the trip on Thanksgiving day. We enjoyed a great meal and a great time visiting with family we don't see very often. The weather was beautiful, and the kiddos enjoyed playing outside. Again, we were able to reflect and are THANKFUL for all of our blessings and enjoyed the company!

We were so excited to spend Thanksgiving Day with my family. Normally, we travel to Wiggins on the actual day of Thanksgiving, but we saved that trip for the weekend this year. It was so nice to be close to home. We had a good time eating, visiting with family, and being thankful for ALL of our many blessings! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Trick or Treat

We trick or treated just a couple of houses on Sunday late afternoon. Our town changed trick or treating to Monday night, but we decided to go ahead and do a few on Sunday. Parker was so very excited to dress up this year, and he even got to pick out who he wanted to be. Of course, he picked Buzz Lightyear, who is very popular at our house. Nevin Claire was a princess, and she did a great job of being one. She didn't even fuss about wearing the crown!

Fall Fun Fest

Parker's 3K class had a Fall Fun Fest on Friday, October 29. It was lots of fun, and Parker's mimi was able to come too! The 6th graders were the ones in charge of each game, and the 3K students loved playing with them! Parker's favorite thing was the treat bag he was able to bring home!

Parker and Nevin Claire had a fun time at Grumps and Ninny's house this weekend! Parker went with Grumps to watch BIC play on Friday night, and Nevin Claire went with Ninny on Saturday to get some new shoes. Both went to visit Mawmaw Sue and Papa Estus and also got to see Aunt Deb and Uncle Dan. They both were the prince and princess for the weekend! Parker has already asked if he can go back soon! =) Thanks again Ninny and Grumps!
